Good ideas. Jamie vs. Cassie

Ok, so maybe it isn't really Jamie vs. Cassie... more of a comparison.

We've always known that we have two very different children. They really are nothing alike. However, I noticed something today that just demonstrates this to a "T".

When Jamie was 3, his big thing was saying something (like "lets get some ice cream"). Shortly after, he would follow it with one simple question,"Dat good idea?" It almost always assured him of what he wanted.

Cassie on the other hand. If she says,"Lets get some ice cream", I'll usually respond,"After we clean up." Or something similiar. Her response? "Dat NOT good idea!!!!"

It is amazing how similiar they are even in being different. There is really no way Cassie can remember Jamie using almost that exact phrase, but she now uses it constantly just like he used to.

I try not to laugh at her...she looks all serious...and I am pretty sure "Dat NOT good idea" if I want her to grow out of it.

Oh how cute! I remember when G2 was that age and he told me that Happy Meals were for happy people...pause....pause...."Mom; I'm real happy".

Sometimes it takes everything not to laugh when they are trying to be serious.
