Lunar Golf???

We were at Lakeline Mall today and were roaming around. Tom and I specifically tried to avoid going downstairs from the movie theater because that's where the Inflatable Wonderland place... er... was. They've apparently moved over by Sears and Build-A-Bear.

Anyway, so we accidently walk by and are lulled by all the glowing coming from that corner. This is the coolest thing. It's pitch black with black lights. It's like cosmic bowling, only cooler. Lunar Golf! Being a Saturday, or course the place was packed to the gills, so we'll go back during the week in the next few weeks and check it out. Way cool!

This made me realize though, we seriously need a "family" to be friends with. I remember growing up that we had other families that we all liked and hung out with. We don't have that yet. We have friends of mine, who either aren't married or their husband's never tag along to stuff so Tom never really connects with them. Or there are people that Tom likes and I don't connect with them for one reason or another. Or their kids are too little for mine to play with or their kids or too old to want to play with my kids. *LOL* We need a dating service or something :p

**A-hem** "Family seeks other family for occassional outtings and barbeques. Must be liberal in politics, laughs and fun..."

What I mean, is how fun would something like that be to invite an entire other family along, someone for me to talk to, Tom to talk to, the kids to play together. People to have over to dinner on-the-fly without it being weird.

Okay, now I just sound psycho.

Why? why is that Psyco? I think I'm seeing my new business idea coming to me. Oh and don't get too picky, I mean hubby isn't at all libral in his political thinking, and him and Tom got along ok ;-) Besides having to find a couple where both are libral...good luck, or are we the only odd ones?

LOL! I was only kidding about that part. I have lots of friends that aren't liberal freaks like us :p

It's not impossible, but finding another family who are similar in age and interests to your own can be tricky. We're lucky to have some friends like that. ;o)

Don't give up, it could happen!!!

Well... You could help me tie him up and toss him in the trunk of the car...

Or Tom can help me figure out a way to disable WoW that he can't fix right away and he'll have nothing else to do...

I can relate, except my other half doesn't WANT this, he just needs it!
