A fun day all around...
I seem to always end up working on the weekend, at least a little. Jamie starts school tomorrow... so... I decided to only work an hour on Saturday and I took the entire day of Sunday off and we made some homemade art stuff and Tom made homemade corn dogs in his new fryer thingy (bought on sale for a steal!)... the kids think we're so cool now :-) Take a look...
We made homemade bath tub paints (these were SO easy and the kids had a great time - lesson learned though, we won't do red again, it stained the grout... LOL).
We also made homemade play dough :-)
Tom made yummy homemade corn dogs - we also made JD's Anything Goes sauce for it... yum... I can feel my arties hardening as I type...

I love days like this. I too did nothing today but hang with the kids. I don't know why. They will be tagging along with me to work tomorrow.
Sounds like a fun family day! I will have to try those tub paints, Matthew would love them!
Goodluck on the first day of school! Matthew doesn't start until the 31st...can't wait!

WOW looks like a blast.. you are so creative. I bought the kids bathtub crayons and they have frozen corndogs LOL.. you Rock!!!!

Ok, do I have to clean that off the grout on thursday? Looks like yall had fun though!
I love Corn Dogs they are the best, I have never made them and I dont think I am going to be becuase I love them and my diet does not approve!
I love the bath paints. Oh and to get stuff off the grout that is near impossible use the clorox bleach pen, it gets everything out, everything! Put it on and leave it on for a while and then wash it off!
