Heard... At School Pick Up
I asked what her name was and she told me.
I then asked what she looked like. She said "I don't remember. But I made a friend!"
Apparently they held hands at recess and that makes them BFF.

Can I still be BFF-like?
My cousin's (Leslie) son (Sidney) started school this year. When asked if he had made any friends he said "yes" and when asked what their names were he said "I don't know." And asked do they know your name he said "yes" why don't you ask their names? "I will when I am ready." One day last week Leslie picked Sid up at school. One of the little girls came running up and said "bye Sidney." Leslie asked Sid what her name was and he said "I don't know" so she asked the little girl her name. Sid got really mad and said "Mom, I told you I would ask when I was ready." I think Sid belives this is a short term arrangement and he doesn't need to know the names of his friends.
